A Root and Blossom Production was founded in 2018, marking both a return and a new beginning. After 25 years immersed in France’s performing arts and music scene, I returned home to Nigeria with a clear purpose: to create space for African stories to thrive on stage, on screen, and in the world.

Our first production, My Nina Simone Trip, set the tone, a bold and deeply personal work that bridged continents and cultures. From that moment, our mission was clear: to nurture authentic African storytelling that is both artistically rich and globally resonant.
